Muybridge at Tate Britain

Anyone with an interest in skateboard photography should go and see the new Eadweard Muybridge exhibition at the Tate Britain. For those who don’t know, Muybridge was an early pioneer of stop-motion photography, using an elaborate system of trip wires and multiple cameras to create the first photographic action sequences. The exhibition also includes some amazing panoramas of San Francisco before the earthquake and fire of 1906.

Make sure you also check out Mike Nelson’s Coral Reef installation while you’re there.
