For those who aren’t familiar with Muybridge, he was a British-born photographer who worked mainly in the US. He is best-known for his pioneering work in stop motion and sequence photography, famously being employed by businessman Leland Stanford to prove whether or not a horse’s feet all left the ground at once while trotting and galloping.
The Familia board series depict Muybridge’s later work, when he photographed various animals in motion.
To win a board of your choice from the series simply email email@example.com and tell us what was Muybridge’s job before photography became his livelihood. The winner will be picked at random from all correct entries. The competition will close Monday May 28th.
