Your help needed – new SE14 skate park

Plans are well underway for a new skatepark in Telegraph Hill, with funding already secured by local skaters. Telegraph Hill is close to New Cross, Brockley and Nunhead and easily reached from Victoria, St Pancras and London Bridge stations as well as the new East London Line.

Unfortunately some local residents have voiced concerns relating to anti-social behaviour and noise so a vote has been organised for next Tuesday 21st September to decide whether or not the project goes ahead. The meeting will be held at Askes’ School lower site, Jerningham Road (2 minutes from New Cross Gate station) at 7pm.

Please come along and lend your support. Every vote counts and it would be a shame to see this funding and all the hard work of the kids involved in the project go to waste.
